This hood uses the same textured copper found throughout the build on other projects, but the details on it are slightly more pronounced. The decorative band around the bottom of the hood creates a pattern that is a more refined version of the “X” detail found on the fire pit and outdoor kitchen hoods. The copper rivets used to join the sheet metal are both decorative and functional. A patina and clear coat finish the piece.
In addition to the range hood we built for the kitchen, we also built timber connection plates, chimney caps, fireplace doors for the guest room, a Peruvian grill, and heavy duty steel gates for the main entrance.
